Our Story

Three years ago, we worked with the Qube Charitable Foundation to create a film project subsidized by the Summer Temporary Employment Program. The purpose of this project was to create one to three-minute films for non-profit, Edmontonian organizations and charities to promote their work. We called it 780FILM, and when the summer ended, we decided to continue the project independently, registering as a partnership. To this date, we have produced over twenty-five films for eighteen clients.

Our favourite part of 780FILM is the service that it provides. Some of our clients include Kids Kottage, the Canadian Mental Health Association, Myeloma Canada, the University of Alberta, LGK Wealth Management, and Young Life. With each organization, we get to see into a brand new world. It is a rewarding experience to help organizations and small businesses refine their mission statements and establish a stronger

marketing portfolio.

Our Team - A Partnership

Kennedy recently graduated from the University of Alberta where she studied English and Philosophy. In the fall, she decided to pursue her passion for filmmaking further and learn more about the creative arts. Heading for Vancouver, she attended a sixteen-week full-time program at Langara Continuing Studies specific to documentary film production. There, she shot her first documentary. She is now working to apply story-telling skills to corporate advertising.

Jordan is a fourth-year student at the University of Alberta studying Urban Planning and Economics.

He has five years of experience working as a videographer, specifically in wedding, corporate and documentary filmmaking. Jordan is passionate about finding the stories that make Edmonton unique and sharing them in innovative ways.
